I always want to work with people who have a pleasing personality.  For me, it is best to work with people who are  humble, happy to serve , friendly and industrious.  I am sure I will get to meet more of them .  I want to give you a glimpse of  my daily morning routine. As I get to work at 8:00 in the morning, I get a warm greeting from our head security, we call him Kuya Dan.  He has been with the company for more than 20 years and continues to be of service up to now.

For the start of the school year, I am looking forward to attend a weekly Mass . Being a Catholic and in my late-40s, I know the value  of being  God -centered.  In fact, our interaction with others emanates from our relationship with God.  By the way, I was able to get to know Ms. Moriel, our  School Registrar. Enrollment is in full swing and Ms. Moriel is always happy to serve and answer the queries of our parents  including but not limited to the tuition fees and school subjects.  By the way, Ms. Moriel often attends Mass too. I will be glad to join her every week.

Kuya Ipe is one of our Maintenance Personnel.  His commitment and perseverance to do his assigned tasks is a perfect example of selflessness. He is always very early as he makes sure that when we arrive at the office, everything is clean and in order.

Of course, I cannot forget our School Administrator, Sir Ted Vicente.  I work in the communications department and  get to report  my weekly activities directly to him.  Sir Ted  has a lot of bright and exciting ideas for the school. It is always a breather to hear his inputs as I get to know more of the school. He is not only competent but creative  and diligent. He is definitely a man-for -others.  He is generous to share his time, talents and resources. Yes, a Ruizian values the gifts that God has given to him.

Lastly, I was able to get to know our new teachers during the school orientation. I immediately felt a sense of camaraderie as we did all our preliminary school activities. I also feel that they are ideal team players,  both a follower and a leader.  I am sure that our Ruizians  will have a great learning experience .

Yes, I am very fortunate to have a second family  in Lorenzo de Ruiz Manila School as I get to work with a happy heart surrounded by community-builders and service-oriented personnel.
