LRMS ACADEMIC PROGRAM

Senior High School (SHS) covers the last two years of the K to 12 program and includes Grades 11 and 12. In SHS, students will go through a core curriculum and subjects under a track of their choice.

LRMS offers the following TRACKS:

Academic Track

This track appeals to those who have set their minds towards college education. Our school offers these four strands.

Program Description

This strand is designed for learners who aims to pursue tertiary programs that are geared toward the physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, and technology.

HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (HUMSS)


Program Description

The Humanities and Social Science Strand is designed to equip the learners with the knowledge and skills required for those who wish to pursue academic degrees in the Liberal Arts (Philosophy, Literature, Communication Arts, Journalism), Education and Social Science (Sociology, History, Behavioral Science, and Asian Studies).

This strand is design for learners who aim to take up business, accountancy, or management in college.

GENERAL ACADEMIC STRAND (GAS)


Program Description

This strand is for learners who are not yet decided on what courses to take in college. While other strands are career-specific, GAS is great for students who are still undecided on which track to take.

It is possible that the learner will be given bridging courses to assess his/ her preparedness for the field of study he/ she will choose in the future.

Since General Academic Strand (GAS) does not specialize in any strand, the learner is free to choose any college degree program under the three other strands based on the chosen elective.


Technical- Vocational- Livelihood (TVL) Track

It calls out to eligible students with subjects focused on job-ready skills. In our school we offer:

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) (Animation & Illustration)


Program Description

ICT is one of the strands offered in the Technical- Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Track. It is designed to provide the learner with technical skills and knowledge in using tools and equipment that allows people to interact in the digital world. Our school’s ICT program specializes on Animation and Illustration.
